Nearly 200 Local Students Submit ‘Art From the Heart’ for Essential Workers

Our youngest readers sent in artwork thanking the people who are making the Capital Region tick during the COVID pandemic.

We’ve been thanking essential workers for nearly a year now, but that doesn’t mean they deserve our praise any less. So Capital Region Living and Saratoga Living called in some friends to help us show our gratitude. We collected nearly 200 pieces of handmade artwork from Capital Region kids, thanking doctors, nurses, farmers, mailmen and more for the amazing work they’ve been doing during the pandemic. Click here to scroll through the gallery  to see all the Art from the Heart submissions, and scroll down to meet the sponsors who made this initiative possible!

(Drawings L to R: Dillon, 1st Grade, Maevia 4th Grade, Natalie, Age 5.)
