September 20-24
Adirondack Balloon Festival

To celebrate 50 years of sky-high fun, the festival this year adds a pre-festival cocktail reception at the Hiland Park Country Club Wednesday from 5-8pm. While balloon fests traditionally cater to early birds, this event includes multiple “moonglows.” Check the website for a full schedule of events; gates open at 4:30am Saturday and Sunday for the main ascensions. adirondackballoonfest.org
