Canned Cocktail: Lucky One Sweet Tea

Dave Portnoy is a fan of Saratoga Springs; the Barstool president even has a house on Fifth Avenue near the Oklahoma Training Track. And this summer, he’s bringing a new drink to the Spa City and beyond.

Following the success of Lucky One Lemonade, which features his rescue dog, Miss Peaches, on the packaging, Dave is back with a new beverage to help rescue pups find their forever home. Lucky One Sweet Tea is a non-carbonated, canned tea-and-vodka concoction that comes in four varieties: original, half & half, peach, and raspberry. Like Lucky One Lemonade, a portion of Lucky One Sweet Tea proceeds will be donated to organizations including Best Friends Animal Society and Lifeline Animal Project.

Water: A Hydration Revelation

Single-use water bottles are getting a whole lot greener—and the 518 is leading the charge.

Spirit Water: Locally rooted in the Capital Region, Spirit Water was born when the Tronco family couldn’t find a bottled water brand that aligned with their values…so they decided to create one themselves. Spirit Water comes packaged in infinitely recyclable aluminum bottles that help keep plastic out of the ocean.

JUST Water: The brainchild of Jaden Smith and Glens Falls native Drew FitzGerald, JUST is 100 percent mountain-sourced spring water that comes in cartons made from Forest Stewardship Council–certified forests. They also serve sparkling water in aluminum bottles.

Realm Artesian Water: The new kid on the block, Realm Artesian Water announced this April that it was officially shipping nationwide from its Clifton Park bottling facility. The naturally alkaline water, sourced from deep within the Adirondack aquifer, is bottled exclusively in glass, the gold standard in recyclability.
